Common questions

Where are my photos stored?

On your iPhone only, inside the app's sandboxed file system. They are not uploaded anywhere. Deleting a trip or a keepsake deletes the associated photo on disk.

Can I sync between devices?

iCloud-backed sync is coming. Until then, Coffer is single-device.

How does the ticket scanner work?

It uses Apple's on-device VisionKit to read text from a printed ticket and pre-fill the From/To/Provider/Code/Departure fields. The image and text never leave your iPhone — everything is processed locally.

I tapped Erase Everything by mistake.

There's no undo. We require a confirmation alert before the wipe. If you sync to iCloud (future version), your other devices will keep their copy until they next sync.

Why aren't my Sign in with Apple details syncing across devices?

We keep your Apple identity in Keychain on each device. iCloud Keychain syncs this between devices you've signed into iCloud on. If it's not syncing, check Settings → Apple ID → iCloud → Passwords is enabled on both devices.
